Here at Claflin Equipment we sell three grades of surgical instruments.
Each grade designed to meet different operational requirements. The
following is a short description of each:
Miltex, “all instrument numbers ending with -00”. These instruments
meet the highest OR surgical instrument grade requirements. They are
used by many hospital’s in their OR suites. They are of German
manufacturer with precision craftsmanship and a lifetime guarantee.
Vantage, "all instrument numbers ending with -01”. These instruments
are considered good quality surgical instruments. While these
instruments are sometimes found in hospitals they are more often found
in environments where the work load is much less demanding. They are of
Pakistan manufacture using European and Japanese steel with a limited
lifetime guarantee
Floor, “all instrument numbers ending with -02”. These instruments are
economical grade surgical instruments. They are designed to be used and
sterilized only a few times before their practical life is over.
