Summit HC

A great, sensitive GPS with a crisp colour screen, electronic compass and a barometric altimeter. The Summit HC features 24 megabytes of internal memory, a detailed basemap and is WASS-enabled. This allows you to locate and maintains position even in dense cover.

The Summit HC basemap contains lakes, rivers, cities and much more which along with the 256 colour screen it is simple to work out positions easily even in bright sunshine.

The combination of the compass and altimeter allows the Summit HC to pinpoint location accurately with altitude. You can even use the altimeter to plot barometric pressure over time, which can help you keep an eye on changing weather conditions. You can load waypoints and routes from the included MapSource Trip and Waypoint Manager software and add map detail from Garmin's entire line of optional MapSource mapping products.
