CyberCash
CyberCash is our own currency and at the present time you can only use it on winnit.co.uk to;
1) Pay for site fees from the 1 penny fee to list an auction item to the £30 for a Home Page Featured item
2) Pay for tickets in the random winner listings. When you buy a ticket the CyberCash is automatically debited from your CyberWallet and obviously this happens only if you have funds in your CyberWallet. If you don't have enough CyberCash then it will not let you buy a ticket
3) Buy items or services from sellers that accept CyberCash as one of their payment methods, again, once you click the button to proceed with the sale, it will automatically debit the amount from your CyberWallet and pay the seller instantly. Again, this will only happen if you have sufficient funds in your CyberWallet
You can top up your CyberWallet at any time by clicking on the link on the left hand side of your screen at the bottom of the members area where the word CyberWallet is written in blue. The members area is only visible when you are signed in. This is also where you can check your balance 24/7.
If you want to accept CyberCash as a payment method on your own site or any other site apart from winnit.co.uk then you need to click on the link that says 'External CyberCash Payments' in order to get your specific code. You can then add this code to any web site or web page and be able to accept CyberCash. If in doubt just email
admin@winnit.co.uk or call 07053 500 500.
Once in your CyberWallet you can transfer CyberCash to another user very simply and very quickly, all you need to do is make sure you spell their user name exactly as it is spelt, we will not take responsibility for mistakes in sending CyberCash to the wrong person because of a spelling mistake. So if for example you want to send CyberCash to a member called vinnie and by mistake send it to a member called vinie then the onus will be on you to contact the members concerned. We will only try to help once you have contacted the respective members yourself and we will then try to help but please be clear, we will not accept responsibility for your mistakes so please don't make any.
Can CyberCash be withdrawn like paypal? The simple answer to this is "No", not at this time anyway. We will convert the money for our members but only for those members that have in excess of 100 feedback. This is to prove their worth on our site. Under no circumstances will we exchange it if you have less than 100 feedback so please don't ask.
At the present time there is no charge for CyberCash transactions. As you are probably aware with paypal, the smaller the transaction the higher the fee and in some cases as much as 50% of the amount is taken by paypal in fees. We do not charge for CyberCash transactions however we do reserve the right to at some point in the future make such a charge. When we do it is likely to be 1% across the board regardless of the size of the transaction.
